Terra nova how does it end

The rebels send their truck toward the portal instead — with Jim and some mysterious cargo in the back. Only problem is, she needs a code. She starts working on that, but crafty Lucas escapes, slams her face into the truck and takes off on foot. Jim pulls out a big needle and injects something in the back of the truck. The bad guys open the door and — surprise! The carno roars and starts eating bad guys as Jim slips out looking for a place to plant the bomb the same one the rebels dismantled during the last hour — yay, continuity.

He drops it down the port shaft. Weaver briefly gets the drop on Jim, but the dino gets the drop on Weaver — and gobbles him right up, shaking him like a rag doll. We only just met Weaver, yet this is very satisfying.

Hope Plaza begins to explode and Jim runs for the portal — with the carno right behind him. But here Jim is outrunning explosions and a dinosaur at the same time , which makes it kinda awesome. OTG : Lucas finds his father and they fight. Taylor wins and pins him.

Taylor helps up his son, they embrace — and Lucas stabs his father in the side. Just as we think Taylor is goners, Skye rescues him by shooting dear brother Luke Lucas. Lucas started out a tad goofy, but I ended up enjoying him as a villain. As soon as word gets out that the portal is destroyed, the Phoenix Group mysteriously abandons Terra Nova.

From the 18th century. Which presumably means … another portal? But one going to a different time. Overall, the finale accomplished what a finale should: The main story threads were largely satisfied and some intriguing ideas were launched for a potential second season.

So clearly I enjoyed the first finale, but what did you think? I woke up the next morning and found … zero entries. I got nervous.

I started drafting an excuse to include in this recap for not having any pics about how, like Maddy, I keep everything on my Plex, then lost the images when my core blew. But then a reader entry came in. Then another, and another. I was pretty thrilled with what we got and posted all that I could get cleared. And here they are…. And Taylor is keeping one good eye out for any threats — like that crazy prehistoric Marlin. Love this one, from reader Martin.

It shows us the tender side of Taylor that we always suspected was there. Taylor is either hugging, or riding, a brachiosaurus. Perhaps a little of both?

Like all great art, I think the interpretation is best left to the viewer. Extra points for adding Maddy and Zoe watching from the sidelines.

All Price Plans Explained. A part-time hobby soon blossomed into a career when he discovered he really loved writing about movies, TV and video games — he even arguably had a little bit of talent for it.

He has written words for Den of Geek, Collider, The Irish Times and Screen Rant over the years, and can discuss anything from the MCU - where Hawkeye is clearly the best character - to the most obscure cult b-movie gem, and his hot takes often require heat resistant gloves to handle.

By Padraig Cotter Published Mar 14, Lucas is held hostage, but quickly escapes, knocking Skye out cold. Back in , Lucas's employers are shocked when a huge dinosaur emerges from Jim's canister - a good thing it didn't decide to eat Jim!

As the creature wreaks havoc, Jim plants a bomb in Hope Plaza, destroying the facility and the time fissure for good. And back in the Cretaceous, Lucas is cornered by his father Commander Taylor and beaten to a pulp!

The bloodied Lucas breaks down, begging for his father's forgiveness, but it's all a ruse and the ruthless villain stabs Taylor! Skye arrives and fires off a single shot, just as Lucas prepares to deliver the killing blow - but is he dead? Nope, while Skye tends to the wounded Taylor, Lucas is able to slip away Jim is still in , with the dinosaur hot on his heels!

Taking one last heroic leap through the time portal, Jim reunites with a relieved Elisabeth. Terra Nova is repopulated by the good folk, including the Shannon family, but Taylor receives a report - the Phoenix Group were last seen heading towards the Bad Lands The canister that Mira brought back to the colony is finally opened - inside is the prow of an 18th century sea vessel.

How did it get to the Bad Lands? Jim got through to Hope Plaza, where he set up Weaver to spring on his bosses another piece of unexpected cargo — a Carno, and an angry and hungry one at that. While the dino dined on greedy baddies, Jim set the bomb, then sprinted for the portal before he became dessert and before Hope Plaza want kaboom.

Meanwhile, Taylor found and wailed on his boy, only to let a misplaced and horribly timed bit of sentimentality render him vulnerable to a stabbing.
