The hotel is located on the side of the resident island of Ma Fuji near the police station and the prison. It is five minutes walk from Bikini Beach and the more lively places, but the island is not big. From the airport to Ma Fuji, there are speedboats every hour or two every day, 25 dollars unilaterally. I didn't know at the beginning. I went to the airport to contact the boss at the airport information center. The person who was contacted by the boss yelled at the speedboat outside.

After half an hour's speedboat arrived at Ma Fuji Island, the little brother used the three-wheeled cart to pick up the baggage back to the hotel. I thought it was a ferry. As a result, the ferry was only one shift per day, and the journey was one and a half hours.

So explain it here clearly and avoid misunderstandings. The folk boss is enthusiastic. I went out to sea and she also provided me with a mobile phone case. The breakfast buddy sat, very good. The house is fully equipped with refrigerator, air conditioning and hot water. There is a supermarket on the inhabitants' island, which is convenient for living.

For our honeymoon we decided that The Maldives would be our dream destination and we spent a long time selecting the right resort for us. Obviously the setting of the island is stunning. Naladhu has gently sloping white sand beaches leading to the bluest warm sea imaginable - but I do not think that is rare in The Maldives.

However, what sets this Island apart is the incredible staff we met during our stay. Every single one of them provided a level of service I have never experienced before. Nothing is a problem, no request an issue. We stayed in Villa 6 during our stay and our exceptional "house master" was Ameen who could not do enough for us. He was probably a little disappointed that we are quite independent and made some arrangements ourselves - but he always greeted us with warmth and a smile and our villa was always immaculate.

The villa itself is simply stunning - tall double doors open to a large hallway which leads to a huge bedroom which can open on two sides to the pool and the covered decking. The bathroom is open at both sides with one leading to an outside shower and the other directly to the pool with a glass sided bathtub as the divider.

Outside a wide deck by the green tiled pool overlooks the ocean with the gentle sound of waves as a backdrop. From the decking we could spot crabs, reef sharks and loads of species of fish just below us.

All meals on Naladhu are at The Living Room. This open sided building is designed to be "your living room" so you can eat breakfast at any time of the day and have literally whatever you want. Both lunches and dinners are exceptional and the chef often came out to speak to the guests and was a delight. Murphy looked after us during our time there and he was a lovely person, very warm and engaging and a credit to the resort. The manager, Thomas, was also superb and even lent us his personal speaker when we could not get to grips with the sound system provided.

And finally, the wonderful Bibin, who not only sorted out our reservation but took the time to come and see us when we were in Veli to check that everything was OK and looked after us on Naladhu. On departure we had a private transfer to Male in a luxury boat which was the perfect end to the perfect holiday. This is a wonderful island, fully deserving of all the awards it has received. Well done Anantara - you have got this so right and we will definitely be back.

Kinan Retreat Maldives. This is our 1st tup to Maldives. We landed at night in Male, so we had to stay overnight in Hulhumale or you can choose Male before the speedboat transfer the next morning. A warning text came stating I had spent RM for a 10 minute data usage!

We got onto a speed boat transfer arranged by Kinan, and arrived about 1. The water in front of the resort is so blue, it does not get any bluer than here anywhere else in the world. Faesal the manager and the team goes out of their way to make your stay comfortable.

The room is clean, comfortable and everything in it is functioning. Lunch and dinner is very delicious. Breakfast can be a bit monotonous, with roshi Maldivian flatbread , Mas Huni tuna coconut salad and some Western fare. My advice is to just go with full board, as getting ala-carte food from the other 2 or 3 local restaurants can take a long time.

Fulidhoo is such a small island, and you can finish walking around it in 15 minutes. So to kill time, please do some activities. We went for a snorkelling trip to a sunken fishing ship and visit at the sandbank. If you want to see marine life and maybe corals you can miss this one. The small catch that we had was cooked for lunch the next day. We went scuba diving with Fulidhoo Dive located next door. They are a professional outfit, and are highly recommended. As a not so experienced diver, I thought the corals were not so great.

On the final day we went snorkelling again at Shark Point. The resort is set on two private islands, linked by a bridge, and surrounded by a vibrant coral reef, among miles of idyllic white-sand beaches.
